I'll be honest, it took me a while to figure out how to put this up. My backdoor opens out and I didn't want to cover the whole inner door frame with the screen, so I got creative. I'm also a renter and was concerned with the Velcro backing peeling off the paint of my doorframe. I ended up using painters tape underneath, and applied the sticky side of the Velcro to that. My door is also much smaller and shorter than the screen, so I ended up tucking the sides into themselves and using safety pins to hem the bottom. It works though! I did use one nail to reinforce the top of the screen, and I'm gentle going through it. But now I can get a solid breeze since my two side windows don't open. Worth the money!

This is awesome! It's a tiny bit big for my door I needed it for but I made it work. My dog loves being able to go out and come back in from the yard as he pleases. I figured out it works best if you have some slack so the flaps can swing back and close. Because of this I did have to move the Velcro around a few times. Even with moving it it's still holding great. I highly recommend this screen!

I can't express enough how much I LOVE these screen doors. They are exactly what I was looking for. And frankly 100x better than I hoped to find. EASY to install.(measure, take your time to line up the Velcro with screen. Serious Velcro...once placed, holds TIGHT. Adjusting the velcro is a task) I did not want mine dragging the floor, so they are about an inch off the floor. They do exactly as described. I took a couple of pics and videos. Frankly, they closed so fast with the magnets that it was hard to video. We are out in the country with a little screened in porch. The wooden screen doors we had were awful from the start. (However I do still find myself reaching for the door handle with the new screens) I get compliments and questions from everyone to visit with the new screens.

We've had this screen up for a year and a half now and it is still working perfectly. Granted we don't have kids or animals that would really put it through the wringer. We are very pleased with the product and would definitely buy it again. My daughter just asked me about it and wants to buy one for their home - 4 kids and a dog! I just installed this and already love. Be sure to measure to get a great fit. There was the exact amount of Velcro tape needed - entire top and bottom, not just tabs like others I have seen. Will wait a few weeks and edit if needed but I don't expect to.

Great screen door! I diy'ed one for a little bit and it wasn't working very well so I gave in and got this. My cats come in and out, in and out, every 5 minutes. Also we have a gnat problem so I can't leave the screen door open. This fit great on my sliding glass door. I just staple gunned it to the outside of the sliding frame cuz it's wood. There is a little gap going down where it covers the middle of the sliding door, in order to still shut the screen door when I don't want my cats to go out. Cats do great with it, just takes a little motivation, and petting, and literally pushing them head first through the door to understand how it works. One of my cats can get in, but still can't figure out how to get out, even 3 months later. We're working on it.

This is a higher quality magnetic screen. Did not take long to put up at all. The sticky side to the Velcro is VERY sticky. Make sure you know exactly where you need to place it before removing the white backing. I would suggest two things. 1. Lay the screen out on a flat surface for a couple days to get the folds from shipping out. 2. On the top Velcro alignment, just tap it in a few spots first. Hold the screen up and make sure it is the correct height before you press entire strip down. Follow the instructions, they are simple. I put mine on a sliding glass door, so there are a couple curves I had to pay attention to when putting the Velcro strip down and I could not pull the screen tight, I had to leave a little "breathing room " for it to fall closed. I will probably get something to weigh the bottom down a little more. All and all, once the creases from the folds settle down, it will be great.

Works well and our cat enjoy coming in and out of it. I had the whole thing up in 5-7 minutes.I suggest reinforcing it with pushpins or a staple gun. We used additional double sided tape, but it was no match for our recent heat wave and after a month or so melted off. It's been sturdy every since we added the pushpins. Also, the other reviews complain about the magnets not sticking together. Just remember to mount the middle (where the doors meet) slightly higher than the corners (an inch or two) and the magnets will close just fine.

Well this screen door held up through an Alaska winter, so the durability is definitely there! Due to us living in Alaska, we dont have an air conditioner, so we purchased this to put on our balcony door, to let the air in and keep the bugs out and it has very much worked. The magnetic strips that connect the screens to each other, seem to have held up properly. My only issue with it, is how it went up. The adhesive they give with it, is honestly quite a joke, however it does work best, allowing you to keep it on the door frame, while you hammer in some nails to give the screen a more permanent stick. After this winter we will need to add a few more nails. Overall, im happy with the product.

Our apartment doesn't come with a screen door so we've decided to try this out! It's 100% what we wanted and does exactly what a screen door does. It's easy to install (measure your door beforehand to order the right size) and all you do is press the Velcro strips on and apply. It fits perfectly and is very sturdy. It lets in fresh air and calming outdoor sounds but does well at filtering out hard breezes (as I write this it's a day with strong winds, wind chimes going constantly and all and only small breezes get through. Very relaxing! It doesn't flap in the wind at all!

My doors are old and the frames have warped a bit, so I didn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to hang a traditional screen door. This was cheap enough that I figured I'd give it a try and hope for the best. Wow! I'm really impressed. It was easy to put up, and although it took a bit of fussing to make it fit my somewhat uneven door frame, I was impressed by how strong the adhesive on the Velcro strips was. I probably rearranged the screen part five times, and the Velcro stayed firmly affixed to the door frame the whole time. Once I got it all arranged right, everything seemed sealed up just fine, and the magnets snap close on their own when I go in and out. I've had the door open all day since then with no bugs getting inside, and there are a ton of bugs in my backyard right now as we're having a warm spell. It actually looks pretty good too; it's a nice heavy duty screen but still lets plenty of light through.

Love the weight on the bottom. Never had a problem with it staying and closing. Can't use the Velcro again now that we've moved into a different house. It is durable and love the quality!

I live in the Caribbean where there are plenty of bugs, and have several cats who go in and out at will. Over the years I've purchased several similar screens which have all fallen apart very quickly but this one is super strong and I'm extremely happy with it. My door frame is old and the best way for me to install it was to staple it directly onto the frame which was easy to do. The magnets on the cheaper screens I bought never connected well and it was a pain to constantly persuade them to close and stay closed but the magnets on this screen are many and strong so that the door immediately closes behind you as soon as you're through it. The material is solid, the workmanship/manufacture is solid and overall it's an excellent product and way superior to the cheaper versions.

I did not have high hopes for this in the beginning. To start with, according to the directions, it was supposed to have the velcro attached to the screen, but it wasn't. I had to put the velcro on and then proceed to put the velcro on the door casing. Once I got that little bit of confusion out of the way it went well. I followed other reviewers instructions to install the center a bit higher than the sides and there wasn't any problems. However, after a few days I noticed the magnets not coming together anymore so I got a bit aggravated. Then I looked and noticed that the dogs coming and going had pulled the velcro in the center down a bit so that it wasn't higher anymore. Once I fixed that the screen closes just like it should. My dogs, a big 150lb St. Bernard and a small terrier, both love being able to come and go on their own now and I like not having to be at their beck and call 24 hours a day anymore.

I bought this to replace a cheaper version that quickly got torn and didn't work well. This one was worth the money. It's a thicker material, has enough Velcro to go around all three sides, and a magnetic strip that goes the entire length of the entrance. The set up was relatively easy because of the higher quality materials. The weights on the bottom work really well for keeping the door closed, yet are light enough that my 20lb Jack Russell Terrier can get in and out without a problem. Just make sure you install it according to the directions and that it's the proper length for your door and you should be good to go. The only little downside of having it be thicker material and weighted down, is that it can be a little difficult to get through with large objects in your hands, but even catching those objects on the net, it didn't rip.

I bought this magnetic screen door when I replaced the 'regular' door to our deck and had an old storm / screen door removed. The first thing I want to say is that this neither looks nor feels cheap in any way. Our neighbors visited and were very impressed with the 'mesh curtain' and are contemplating buying one to replace a sliding screen door on THEIR deck. Secondly, this product is highly functional and looks decent too. Our dogs go in-and-out without a second thought and it is incredibly convenient. The magnets snap the screen into place perfectly all the time, every time. Third: my husband still doesn't believe how economical this product is, even though I showed him the receipt. He thinks I paid 3x - 5x what it actually costs. It really IS heavy-duty, and a good quality product. I recommend this product without qualification or hesitation - and BTW - I paid full list price: no discounts for a review or whatever...

With a puppy and a toddler who want to go in and out of the backyard all the time, this is a sanity saver! No more constant opening and closing the screen door or letting in armies of mosquitoes when I get tired of opening and closing a screen door. As a single mom with only two hands and a finite amount of patiencebeing able to work in the kitchen and not having to stop every two minutes to let them in and out is wonderful! I can keep an eye on them but let them be self-sufficient too. Super easy to _install and works so well!

This was so much easier and less expensive that replacing my slider screen. It was easy to put up. I only rated 4 stars because my dogs collar caught on the bottom of one panel and tore the trim seam and pulled the whole screen away from the door. I just used Gorrila tape to hold it back together. Otherwise my 4yr old and 1yr old can go in and out to play and I don't get a million bugs.

My 4 dogs are like kids - they love to go in and out of the house constantly, and unlike kids who can open the door for themselves, my dogs will pester me while I'm working to either let them in or out. I have a large fenced in yard for their protection, so the ability (during nice weather) for my dogs to be able to let themselves in and out is a great benefit to all of us - they even seem rather proud of themselves that they can do this on their own. The screen seems to be made quite well. It was very easy for one person to hang. I used both the double sided tape and some of the push pins in strategic places - it's been up for 2 months and still works as good as the day I installed it. My husband recently commented on how much he likes it and that it works better and has held up better than he expected.

It's great for the price. The magnets are strong and seal wonderfully (make sure you hang the top center slightly higher than the top corners); however, you might be better off skipping the Velcro and just using the tacks to hang it if you want to save a headache. While the Velcro seems to work ok, it's a PAIN trying to peel the backing off of the sticky sides. It is exactly like when you try to peel a sticky price tag off something and it won't fully peel off and leaves a thin layer of paper still stuck on. It's a hassle and very frustrating! But once you pick away at all the little pieces, it sticks and hangs nicely.

I have purchased LIKE products that just don't last, they are not good if you have pets. Upon seeing this one I like the look and sturdiness of the product. Well it's been over 2 months and it is doing a great job, the dogs have not damaged the screen and it does wonders in letting cool are in and keeping bugs out. Loved it and purchased a second one !!!

Fits far larger than I measure my door for, so it encompassed quite a lot of space in terms of width, the height is a few inches taller than my door and still hits the ground. Super easy to follow instructions and install and the magnets are light enough and good enough to snap right back when going in and out. As long as you're not trying to tackle through the screen door wide open like a giant idiot, this thing will likely stay on for a long time. if the velcro comes off for some reason (the one that supposed to stick to the door frame) it's even easier to go buy more cheap but sturdy velcro at a nearby office depot or home depot. Great product!

We have had our screen up for a couple months now and it's working great! We installed on our interior garage door so that when the garage door is open we can keep the flies out of the house. It installed very easily (but full disclosure...we did not use the velcro and instead just staple gunned it to the wall...long story, but it made sense) and stays closed...even when it's windy, and it gets VERY windy where we live.

The magnetic screen door goes up quickly and easily. To go out my 60lb. dog figured it out on the first time. Coming back in took him a bit longer not sure why but not a big deal. Occasionally on the dog coming in the screen will stay open partially as other reviewers noted but not worth losing a star for as it's no big deal for me. I am just so happy we are not letting in all the outside insects and not having to get up everytime the dog wants some air. The inexpensive price just adds to my happiness with the product.

I can't afford to replace our entire sliding screen because it would involve fixing the door frame and more. Lots of expense. So I bought this, figuring what the heck, it wasn't that expensive. And it's wonderful! The center automatically closes itself with magnetic strips, but even the dog has figured out how to easily pop in and out without damaging the screen. The airflow is great which is the main reason I wanted this. Even though I bought it for our back sliding back door, so the one side isn't sealed down per the directions, the tight seal along the door closure side and the top are really enough for it to hang exactly where I want it to when the sliding door is fully open. The bottom is somewhat weighted, so it stays put.
